Land Reform in the Pandemic: Brazil's Landless Workers Movement and U.S. Black Farmers

The U.S Network for Democracy in Brazil is glad to share that, on Wednesday, the 1st of July at 3pm EST, we will co-host "Land Reform in the Pandemic: Brazil's Landless Workers Movement and U.S. Black Farmers," a webinar led by the Friends of MST movement and streamed LIVE on our Facebook page.

As Brazil and the U.S. confront the impact of Covid-19 on rural workers, land reform – redistributing land to those who will use it in a sustainable, ecological manner to feed people – becomes urgent. Listen to Igor Chiosina de Nadai (MST-Paraná) and Cassia Bechara (MST International Relations Collective) from Brazil’s Landless Workers Movement (MST) discuss the Emergency Platform for People’s Agrarian Reform and Sacajawea “Saki” Hall from Cooperation Jackson discuss Black farmers’ history of land and the need for land reform in the U.S.

WEDNESDAY, 1st OF JULY, LIVE ON OUR FACEBOOK PAGE!
